What's included
The autogyro (also known as gyrocopter or gyroplane) is a flying machine like no other! You will fly with one of our CAA qualified Instructors and will receive a full briefing and have the opportunity to handle the controls - in fact, this flight even counts towards the issue of a Pilot's Licence!
A 60 minute flight is enough time to experience the thrill of flying in a gyrocopter and to see some of its amazing flight characteristics - including slow flight, tight turns and the unmissable vertical descent! You will also have enough time to see the local area from the air and to get a real feel for what it is like to bethe pilot of one of these fantastic machines.
Our venue at Old Sarum airfield is one of the UK's oldest active airfields and is in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside close to Salisbury with excellent transport links. We have a licenced Cafe on site, and there is lots going on to keep family and friends enterained if they have come to see you off.
Voucher
Each voucher entitles
one person
to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that
anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please contact
the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.
Special Conditions
Minimum age 16. Maximum weight 16 stone (100kg). You must be sufficiently agile to climb in and out of the aircraft.
You must not consume alcohol prior to your flight. This experience is not suitable if you suffer from a medical condition or are taking medication which may cause you to become disoriented or pass out during the flight.
This experience is weather dependent - if you are travelling a significant distance please contact us to check the weather before you set off.
Booking your event
We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen
date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
